QUICKFIX - New version 0.83 to correct bug

MEGA is doing some changes in their SSL certificates. It seems that they are quitting SSL3 because of the POODLE bugs, so it causes problems with MegaDownloader 0.82

I am releasing version 0.83 in order to correct it.

If you want to try it, please download it here. If nobody reports connection problems, I will put it in the download page.

    After installing the file, it showed beta 0.82 and still got error when i tried to download from mega

    Me too. I solved it by uninstalling 0.83 (and maybe part of the 0.82 one) and then, installing the 0.83 again.

    Streaming don't work with v0.83, just like v0.81 and v0.82
    Streaming was working only with v0.7 but now it's dead :(

      0.83 does the exact same thing 0.82 and 0.81 does, every time I try to stream VLC gives me this error message."Your input can't be opened:
      VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://localhost:54321/streaming?t=1'. Check the log for details." The only version that would let me stream was 0.7 and now it wont stream or download. Why am I getting this message? Its not my firewall.

      Only Antiy-AVL engine "called" it "Trojan/Win32.SGeneric". Don't worry.

    Hi, this version 0.83 has a bug, every few minutes shows an error, so the download stops.

    problem's fixed, when you've set the older version to start with windows, even unistalling it wouldnt completely remove it. Here's what i've done. Opened task manager-> processes->megadownloader.exe(right click) -> open file location->delete the megadownloader exe file. After that, open system configuration and uncheck the megadownloader from the start menu. Restart your pc, then install the 0.83 version. Thats it

      Yeah and now there's 2 guys which are claiming that streaming is working....could it be an OS related issue? I'm using XP atm....I will test in another system to see what happens...

      I tried it in Windows Server 2008 it worked perfectly so if it doesn't work for you in Win7 and me in XP something must be missing in our systems or there's a conflict somewhere...

    After uninstalling the old and installing the new version all links for mega open up as chrome://mega/content/secure.html#!xxxxxxxx. Downloader doesn't accept it. Did I do anything wrong here?

    I have some problems with downloading from both Mega web and MegaDownloader, from 2-3 days ago when i downloaded from mega the speed just 10-20kb/s and a lot of eroor connection appear. I checked my internet connection and nothing wrong with it, can you suggest some ways to solve this problem

    hello andres! in megadownloader there are features called increase priority and decrease priority, what are those for? and to what extent does the priority can be increased or decreased? in other words, what is the maximum level of a download priority can be increased or the minimum level of it can be decreased? for example, i'm downloading file A, B, C, and D, if i click "increase priority" for the file C three times, does that mean the download priority for that file is increased three times? and if i click "increase priority" for the file D four times, will it make the file D is being downloaded faster than file C? help me. i'm kinda lost here. thanks.
